all in one week

and color

well

it lives

on a day like today

when the wind

is blowing

the traffic hums

snow is miles away

on the very tip

of the mountain

as we search

for Ash

but we can’t

find her

it’s now dark

and so

it will

have to be

enough

Spread too thin,

she packed up

and hiked straight

out of her home

in Kern, California.

With hope and

ambition for something

fresh and cool

and more forgiving.
